Craps Scammer Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison
Richard Taylor, known as Mr. Casino, has been sentenced to jail time after being convicted of his role in a craps cheating scam at Connecticut casinos. Taylor was sentenced to ten years in prison and three years’ probation after ten years served.

Taylor has maintained his innocence and right before his sentencing, Taylor stated: “I am the best dice player in the world, period.” The Judge in the case said he wanted to send a message in the sentencing. He wanted people to know what would happen if anyone attempted a similar crime in the area.

The Judge stated that Taylor’s arrogance made the options very slim that he would be able to be rehabilitated. Taylor claimed at his trial that he was a high roller and gave large tips to dealers. He denied any cheating by stating that he had a sure fire way to win at craps.
