The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is working on an expansion project for the Choctaw Casino which will see one thousand jobs created. Positions will be open for table game dealers such as craps and blackjack while other jobs will need to be filled as well.

Flinto Constructive Solutions and WorthGroup Architects are working with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma to complete the Choctaw Casino Resort Durant expansion. The facility is projected to open in February 2010.

According to Chief Gregory Pyle of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, “The new casino and resort will bring an economic boom to the community by adding new jobs and economic growth while providing services to meet the needs of tribal members.”

Once the project is completed a total of 1,000 employees will be added. The new casino will have 110,000 square feet of space and be home to 3,000 slot games, 30 poker tables and 40 table games. Included in the table games will be: Let it Ride, Three Card Poker, Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Pai Gow Poker and Mini Baccarat as well as Roulette.
