Richard Taylor Convicted in Connecticut Craps Scam
Richard Taylor had been on trail for some time for being the lead man conducting a casino scam in Connecticut. Taylor was convicted of cheating at the Foxwoods Resort and the Mohegan Sun casinos after begin found guilty in May. Taylor was bribing dealers to pay player for late or illegal bets. Police stated that Taylor and his cohorts were responsible for almost $70,000 in losses for both Connecticut casinos. Taylor was found guilty of cheating, conspiracy to commit cheating, first degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first degree larceny.
Taylor is still in jail on $250,000 bond and is awaiting sentencing on July 10th. Taylor could face more than ten years in prison. Taylor is no stranger to being in trouble with gaming officials. In 2001 Taylor was arrested in Mississippi for cheating at four casinos.
It seems sometimes some things never change and maybe this time if Taylor is in jail for a long time he may find a way to change his ways. If he is able to set foot in a casino, as he has already been banned from several Mississippi casinos.
