United States Presidential Candidate Gambling Debate
Everyone gambles sometime, even our presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain. While Obama claims to be a small stakes poker player, McCain is more of a high roller playing high stakes at the craps table.

In one persons perspective when judging candidacy upon gambling preferences, they may see Obama as the better candidate because where they see craps (McCain's favorite) as risky and slightly reckless, they believe Obama's choice of poker to be cool and calculating and competitive to be signs of what kind of great leader he will be.

The conflicting perspective on the other hand believes that the fact that poker is a game that is more work than leisure and a game where one player stands alone to eliminate the other players, crap is more of a social entertainment game where players are more on a team winning and losing together.

Should we really make our decision on a presidential candidate based on his favorite game? Perhaps some are reading too much into the metaphors of the games. While poker is a game of patience and skill, craps is more of a game of chance. High stakes on a game of odds and chance or low stakes on a game of skill and patience, this isn't their jobs, just one of the many ways they choose to entertain themselves and perhaps to relax a little. Everyone's opinion will most likely be different but the fact still is, these are merely means to entertain, not to build a career on for these two.
